In the 8th round, Jobava will be facing Russian GM Grigoriy Oparin. “This will be a key game in the tournament for me. A win here with the black pieces and then I will have a good chance to also win the next game with the white pieces and then I might be able to fight for a Top 20 place”, Jobava commented briefly yesterday on his chances on improving his current ranking in the overall standings.
